In the past he was the  VP & Head-Global Corporate Legal at Nokia Oyj prior to which he was the Head of Legal & Compliance for Nokia-Siemens Networks. He begun his career as an attorney in Roschier.

He received a graduate degree from the University of Turku and has done executive studies in London Business School.

Elisabeth Noble

Senior Policy Advisor

Elisabeth Noble is a Senior Policy Expert at the European Banking Authority. She leads the EBA’s work on crypto-assets, DLT and the platformisation of financial services and coordinates the European Forum for Innovation Facilitators. She represents the EBA in EU and international standard-setter policy work streams relating to FinTech, market-based finance, financial system interconnectedness, market access and the regulatory perimeter. She is contributing to the delivery of the EU Digital Finance Strategy and was a member of the European Commission’s Expert Group on Regulatory Obstacles to Financial Innovation (now disbanded). Prior to joining the EBA, Elisabeth spent 7 years at HM Treasury advising primarily on the UK government’s response to the financial crisis and the post-crisis domestic and EU regulatory reforms (2008-14), including the reforms to the regulatory architecture in the EU (Banking Union). Elisabeth has also spent some time in the private sector.

For 4 years Jekaterina took part in developing policies for the fintech industry in Lithuania.
Before appointment as an Executive Director of Supervision Service, she was coordinator of
Bank of Lithuania Fintech strategy and Head of Innovation Committee.
She has been working as a lawyer in various divisions of the Bank of Lithuania, with the areas of
responsibility that included insurance, payments, lending, peer-to-peer lending and
crowdfunding regulations. She has been awarded as a Public Sector Lawyer of the Year for
developing the concept of the crowdfunding regulation in Lithuania and preparing the draft law
on crowdfunding and was acknowledged by Lattice80 as one of the Top 100 Women in Fintech:

Prior of joining SAS, Christopher spent 8 years at Fiserv where he had various roles such as trainer, business analyst, pre sales and business development for the financial crime division. He was involved in more than 150 different AML/CTF implementations worldwide.

Christopher owns a master in Economics from the University of Brussels (ULB) and since 2009 is certified anti money laundering specialist (CAMS). He is French speaking native and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Peter Plochan is the EMEA Principal Risk Management Advisor at SAS who helps financial institutions to deal with their challenges around finance and risk regulations, enterprise risk management, risk governance, forward looking risk analysis, stress testing, model risk management, risk modelling and climate change risk management. 

Peter has a finance background (Master’s degree in Banking) and is certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) with 14 years of experience in risk management in financial sector. He has assisted various banking and insurance institutions with large-scale risk management implementations while working both internally and also externally as a risk management advisor (PwC). Since joining SAS in 2014, Peter serves as a global acting domain expert – leveraging the latest trends in risk analytics & technology with his deep risk management & finance expertise. 

Peter also acts as the Risk Management trainer for PRMIA (Professional Risk Management International Association) where he developed and delivers training on Model Risk Management and ERM & Stress Testing for the global risk community.
