Fintech Farm’s Digital Banking Academy has launched a new online course to help SMEs navigate modern financial management. The launch took place at the Fintech Unleashed side event during Slush together with partners Holvi, Wamo, and Alisa Bank. Mastercard Lighthouse and Narvi Payments were also part of the partner lineup for the launch event.
SME finance remains one of the most underserved areas in the banking world. Slush is known for venture capital, but most founders still struggle with the everyday financial side of running a company. Banking, payments, accounting, and funding options have evolved quickly in recent years, yet many growing companies still rely on outdated processes.
The new course, available for free on DIGITALBANKINGACADEMY.COM, gives founders and operators a practical introduction to the most important areas of modern SME finance. The first modules cover:
- SME banking in the digital era
- Financial operations and efficiency
- Payments and commerce
- Financing and growth capital
These lessons help scaling companies understand how to choose the right tools, organize financial operations, manage payments, and explore funding options beyond equity investments.
More content is already being produced. Upcoming additions will cover accounting and e-commerce, as well as complete modules on HR, salaries and incentives, and advanced financing topics. The course will continue to grow together with new partners and industry experts.
The SME Finance Playbook was launched to an audience of hundreds of founders, CEOs, and CFOs gathered at Fintech Unleashed during Slush Week. The aim is to make practical financial knowledge more accessible for growth companies and to highlight the important role fintech plays in helping businesses run and scale better.
The course is open to everyone at DigitalBankingAcademy.com.
