Nordic Fintech Highlights – July
We hope you had a chance to recharge over the summer. For us, August means getting back to helping international companies navigate the Nordic market through market entry projects, executive learning and ecosystem events.
As for July, it was unsurprisingly one of the quieter months of the year. However, a few developments were still worth paying attention to.
Perhaps the biggest long-term signal came from the digital euro. The project continues to move gradually from strategy papers towards practical implementation. We are also becoming more involved in this discussion by launching Digital Euro Circles for industry practitioners. The digital euro will also be one of the core themes of the Payments Arena programme.
Beyond that, July continued the familiar themes of compliance, fraud prevention and payments infrastructure. Not the loudest month of the year, but one that quietly confirmed where the market continues to invest.
