Tink joins Helsinki Fintech Farm

Tink, one of the hottest fintech companies in Europe, has signed a partnership with Helsinki Fintech Farm, the Finnish fintech hub and digital finance innovation service provider.

The partnership is part of Tink’s plans to further engage with the Finnish developer community, where they have been live with its open banking platform for over a year.

Tink gives Finnish developers a single entry access to more than 2500 banks in Europe, through its account aggregation API which access all PSD2 data as well as mortgages, investments, and credits.

“We want to help financial services innovators by giving them the right partners and tools. Tink is a great addition to our partner stack, which already consists of several leading service providers from the fields of business, regulation, and technology. We have 70 domestic member companies and an increasing share of them are looking to utilize open banking in their services” explains Janne Salminen from Helsinki Fintech Farm.

“Finland is one of the first countries where we launched our open banking platform and the feedback has been great. It is evident that the market is ready for more customer-centric products launched by both start-ups and incumbent banks. We’re looking forward to further engage with the market through the Fintech Farm, as well as hiring staff on the ground, says Christophe Joyau, VP of Business Development at Tink.

Tink recently launched “Why 2019 is the year of open banking” – report. Have a look at it here.

Christophe Joyau will also be speaking at Fintech Farm’s Future Digital Finance Forum on April 24th.
